HP 5900 Series — это серия коммутаторов с высокой плотностью портов 10 GbE и малым временем задержки коммутации ToR. HP 5900 Series является частью модуля решений HP FlexFabric, входящего в архитектуру HP FlexNetwork. Новый коммутатор HP 5900 идеально подходит для развертывания на уровне доступа к серверу в крупных центрах обработки данных. Он также может использоваться на уровне ядра в сетях компаний малого и среднего бизнеса. С увеличением количества виртуализированных приложений и объема межсерверного трафика клиентам требуются инновационные коммутаторы ToR, которые удовлетворят потребности в повышении производительности серверных подключений, конвергенции Ethernet и трафика систем хранения, обеспечат возможность работы в виртуальных средах и малое время задержки в едином устройстве.
